Personal information you disclose to us In short: We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information,  and security data, and payment information.

When you register on the Sites and mobile apps, when you participate in activities on the Sites, when you express interest in learning more about us or our products and services, or when you contact us in another way, you willingly give us with personal information. Your interactions with us and the sites, your decisions, and the products and features you use all have an impact on the personal information we gather.

Name and Contact Data. We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.

Payment Data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by our payment processor (such as Mastercard) and you should review its privacy policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions.

Information automatically collected In short: Some information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit our Sites. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Sites. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Sites and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Sites, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. 6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

In short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.
Our servers are located in Rwanda, United States, and United Kingdom. If you are accessing our Sites from outside Rwanda, United States, and United Kingdom, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see “WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE? “above), in Rwanda, United States, United Kingdom, and other countries. If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these countries may not have data protection or other laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 1 year [confirm this, it has to be implemented] past the termination of the user’s account. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software and other techniques. We use these techniques to encrypt the information you input to protect the security of your information during transmission.
Card and mobile money payment information handling. The credit card process during the transaction is handled by the appropriate card processor.
Protection of your password against unauthorized access. It is important for you to protect your password in the most possible way. Make sure you sign off when finished using our Service and change the password regularly.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

10. CONTROLS FOR DO­ NOT TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do Not­ Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

11. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?

In short: Yes, we will update this policy as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification.
